The recommended combination of products for maintenance discs from Great-Lion is again another high-quality combination of two functional products for the treatment of maintenance discs. Of course, the function of the products is also determined by your previous care of the discs. I do not recommend this connection for Durabright discs.
Bleeding wheel cleaner is used for Ph neutral washing. It does not contain substances that damage and etch surfaces. And with its composition, it will not disturb the polished disc of the maintenance disc or the tank of the truck. It is applied using a sprayer to the disk, the temperature of which should not exceed 35°C (so that the shampoo does not stick to the disk). Once applied, the shampoo begins to react and change color to a dark red liquid that dissolves impurities on the surface. Leave it on for 2-5 minutes and wash the loosened dirt from the disc. When washing, use washing brooms with fine bristles. Does not leave white spots on the disc surface.
For maintenance discs, polishing is important after washing the disc, and Great-Lion’s Extreme Metal Polish is used for this. It is intended for polishing, washed, dry maintenance discs and for restoring the mirror shine. Stir before use to mix the abrasive grain with the liquid inside the package. It is applied to a microfiber cloth or 100% cotton cloth or flannel. After applying to a flannel cloth or microfiber cloth, rub in a circular motion over the surface of the disk or tank and let it dry for a while (drying time varies, depending on the temperature, at higher temperatures it dries faster) from 20 seconds to 45 seconds. After the Extreme has dried, polish to a mirror shine again either in a circular motion or using a soft polishing disc.
